Pausing and approving outgoing email Pausing and approving outgoing email. Under Settings, Email, Outgoing email chooses who the portal emails: everyone, nobody outside the firm, or nobody. It can hold your own team’s email too. Sign-in links always go. Paused email, like these placed for this video, waits in the outbox, on its own page; lifting the pause never sends it. Filter by held, waiting, sent or failed, or search by who it’s to. Twenty-five to a page, newest first. Open one to read it, then send it, or discard it. As it goes shows it as it will arrive, signature and all. Or check several, and act on them together. Approval works another way: switch on Hold emails to people outside the firm for approval, and each waits for a look. Kinds you check go straight out; your team’s email and sign-in links are never held. The project’s managers approve what’s about their projects; the owners approve anything. Where you press send, it says held, and by whom. These two were placed too, under Projects, Waiting to go out, counted in the bell. Open one to see it as it will look, with its files. Approve and send, and it goes, just once. Edit, then send changes the subject, the message or who it goes to. Send back returns it to the writer with your note, and they’re told. Or copy the text, send it from your own mailbox, and press Cancel, so the portal never sends it. That’s outgoing email. More videos: portspace.io/videos
