Slack and Teams Slack and Teams. PortSpace can post what happens in the portal to Slack or Microsoft Teams, where your team already reads: an approval decided, a proposal accepted, someone mentioned. Connect Slack workspace once, and everyone at your firm whose portal email is in it gets their alerts as a direct message, with nothing to set up. For a channel, Add to Slack picks it on Slack’s own screen, or paste its incoming webhook address, for Slack or Teams. Choose what it posts, everything or only some kinds, for every project or chosen ones. Send a test checks it’s reaching the channel. This address is a stand-in, so we won’t. With the Calendar on, a channel can also post a morning digest of today at the time you set, and reminders fifteen minutes, an hour or a day before each meeting. A quiet day posts nothing unless you ask, and invoices appear only if you check them in, since everyone in the channel reads it. A project’s Areas and rooms tab lists the channels it posts to, and Add a channel for this project opens this form with the project chosen. Each of your firm’s people can add their own on their profile, for their alerts alone, with their own digest and reminders. Slack and Teams are for your own people: clients and contractors get none of it, not even a direct message. The digest and reminders leave out the example project. That’s Slack and Teams.
