0:03A layout puts a room’s specified furniture on its floor plan at true size, to try arrangements quickly. It isn’t a drawing to build from.
0:14New layout takes the room and a plan: one of the project’s files, or a PDF or picture you upload. Then set the scale from a wall you know.
0:23Here’s the example’s lobby, its scale set from sixty-four feet.
0:27Beside the plan, the room’s pieces, at their size from the specifications. One without dimensions says what’s missing; nothing is placed at a guess.
0:37A piece with a 3D model shows the model from above, like these chairs; the rest a plan symbol, like the round tables, or an outline.
0:45Clearances checks the gaps against your firm’s walkway clearance, here thirty-six inches, and says what it found.
0:53Pieces can be grouped, so a table, its rug and its chairs move and turn together. Choose the group, and it turns, duplicates, locks or hides as one.
1:05Try a piece puts a piece from another room, a library product, or a plain shape on the plan as a trial. Add to Specify makes it an item.
1:15The toolbar measures, and adds notes, arrows, doors and wheelchair spaces.
1:20Export a PDF or PNG with a legend and scale bar, or a DXF for drawing software. Another option tries a second arrangement, and you choose whether the client sees it.
1:31Here’s the PDF.
1:34Full screen gives the plan the whole window, for a tablet.
