0:01Proposals and invoices.
0:03A proposal asks your client to accept items at a price. Check what you’re proposing; each item shows if it’s already on an order or an invoice.
0:13The draft holds the lines, with prices you can adjust, and your words to the client: an introduction, terms, and a deposit if you ask for one.
0:23Send it, and the client accepts it at a link. Their questions come back to the proposal, and you reply there.
0:30Invoice from the very same items. Anything already invoiced says where, so nothing is billed twice. Or start a blank invoice for your fees.
0:40Each invoice keeps its payments. Record a check or a bank transfer, or apply a deposit the client has already paid.
0:47Prefer to send it yourself? Download the proposal or the invoice as a PDF, and email it from your own address. Your client never has to hear from PortSpace.
0:58If your firm doesn’t bill through PortSpace, switch pricing, proposals and invoicing off. Each item keeps a budget price, and the project budget stays.
