0:01Purchase orders and tracking.
0:03If you buy for your clients, raise a purchase order from the items going to one vendor. They’re grouped by vendor; check the ones to order.
0:12It becomes a numbered order, with each item as a line, its quantity and cost. Add freight or other charges beside it.
0:19Preview and send it. You see the email first, and it carries a link to this one order.
0:25Prefer your own email? Copy the message and send it from there; the link works the same. Or download the order as a PDF and send that.
0:33A vendor never signs in. They acknowledge the order at that link, with their name and a ship date, and the order says who acknowledged it, and when.
0:42Expediting follows every ordered item to the floor. What’s coming up shows in amber; anything late turns red.
0:50Dates and tracking holds the expected and actual dates, the carrier and the tracking number. Vendors can fill these in at their link too.
0:58When it lands, receiving records what came, in what condition, and where it was put. Anything not in good order opens a claim.
