One item on its own page, then many at once from the Specifications tab: check them, and the quick-edit bar changes them all, with Undo.
In the manual: Changing several at once

0:01Editing specs.
0:03To change one item, open it and press Edit this item. Its quantity, area and finishes are this project’s. The maker, model and pictures belong to the library product, and editing that changes every job that uses it.
0:19On the Specifications tab, every row has a checkbox. Check one or several, and the quick-edit bar appears.
0:27It changes them all at once: status, area, category, quantity or supplier. Omit them, flag them, copy them to another area or project, mark them revised, or delete them.
0:40From the same bar, issue them as a set, send them for approval, ask a vendor for a quote, raise an order, build a pick list, or propose them to the client.
0:51The bar offers what your role allows and your firm uses. Switch off procurement, and quotes, orders and pick lists go.
0:60To take a whole area, check the box at the head of its list, and every item in it is checked.
1:06Here, two items. Choose Quantity, type the new one, and set it on both.
1:12The bar says what changed. After a change like this, Undo is there for ten minutes, and puts back what each item held, unless someone has changed it since.
1:22Every change, one item or many, is kept in each item’s history, with what it was before.
