Who the portal emails: as usual, paused for people outside the firm, or paused for everyone, with the outbox to read, send or discard what waits; and email to people outside the firm held until a project manager or an owner approves it.
In the manual: Emails held for approval

0:01Pausing and approving outgoing email.
0:04Under Settings, Email, Outgoing email chooses who the portal emails: everyone, nobody outside the firm, or nobody.
0:12It can hold your own team’s email too. Sign-in links always go.
0:17Paused email, like these placed for this video, waits in the outbox, on its own page; lifting the pause never sends it.
0:25Filter by held, waiting, sent or failed, or search by who it’s to.
0:30Twenty-five to a page, newest first.
0:34Open one to read it, then send it, or discard it.
0:38As it goes shows it as it will arrive, signature and all.
0:43Or check several, and act on them together.
0:46Approval works another way: switch on Hold emails to people outside the firm for approval, and each waits for a look.
0:55Kinds you check go straight out; your team’s email and sign-in links are never held.
1:00The project’s managers approve what’s about their projects; the owners approve anything.
1:06Where you press send, it says held, and by whom.
1:10These two were placed too, under Projects, Waiting to go out, counted in the bell.
1:16Open one to see it as it will look, with its files.
1:20Approve and send, and it goes, just once.
1:24Edit, then send changes the subject, the message or who it goes to.
1:30Send back returns it to the writer with your note, and they’re told.
1:34Or copy the text, send it from your own mailbox, and press Cancel, so the portal never sends it.
1:41That’s outgoing email. More videos: portspace.io/videos
